Be Thankful

After my husband and I took a “Babymoon” (last big vacation before our baby is born), we really realized how thankful we are for everything that we have. We vacated in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The island is absolutely gorgeous, but in reality it is a third world country. Most of the natives of the island have never visited anywhere else, dined in a nice restaurant, attended a university or even rode in a nice car. Pregnancy

Being pregnant can be a blessing and peaceful time of your life. For me knowing that I am responsible for a life inside of me makes me very happy. We have created this amazing creature that we need to love, support and protect. Children are a gift sent from God and a miracle. A lot of women tend to continue on with their day to day schedule and never sit back and think about this time. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. I hope that anyone wanting to get pregnant is able to, or at least finds peace within their self by donating time to work with children, foster a child, adopt or simply realize that things happen for a reason. Happy 2011

It’s a new year… time to make some changes (if needed)! Start the year off by doing something nice for someone. Get goals for 2011. Make small changes that lead to big results. As for myself, I don’t like to set unattainable goals, but rather small baby steps that I can accomplish. When I have reached that goal, I then increase the goal. This year a goal that I have set is to eat better. My Thoughts On Having Babies With No Money!

So I am at the point in my life where having babies seems to be the thing to do. My husband and I are ready to start our family. The problem with that though is maternity insurance. We have insurance, but of course the insurance only pays certain amounts for certain things. I am not complaining necessarily on having to pay for a child because they are worth more than a few doctor bills to me. What I have a problem with is the people that go out and take government money to have tons of children. Cheating

So I am writing this post, not to bash Tiger Woods, but to vent about all cheating men. I don’t understand why men cheat in the first place. They married their wife hopefully because they truly loved her and wanted to be with her, only her, for the rest of their life. Why a change of mind? In Tiger’s place it’s not because his wife became unattractive or non-supportive. She is just as beautiful, strong and now a great mother, so I guess he’s just selfish in my opinion.
